Bennie Edens Scholarship Fund Bennie Edens, Coach and Athletic Director at PLHS for many years has had a profound impact upon many, many people in Point Loma. In tribute, contributions are being made to a scholarship fund in his name. The following are criteria for selection: To one or more graduating seniors from Point Loma High School who have excelled in athletics, sportsmanship, scholarship and community service. The recipient(s) must: Have at least a 2.75 GPA Have played one or more CIF-sanctioned sports at PLHS for a total of at least three seasons Have exhibited a continuing record of good sportsmanship and citizenship throughout his or her PLHS career Be recognized as well for campus and community service
